Chartplotter Onwa KM-12C
The KM-12C chartplotter uses data from 4 GPS systems in its work: GLONASS, GPS, Beidou, Galileo (optional). The GPS receiver with 50 parallel channels continuously tracks the vessel’s location using data from up to 50 satellites. The display and the chartplotter antenna comply with the IPX6 protection class: they will withstand the effects of powerful water jets. The display can operate at temperatures from -15℃ to +55℃, the antenna – from -25℃ to +70℃.
Optionally, the Onwa KM-12 chartplotter can be equipped with a radar antenna, AIS class B+ transponder, Wi-Fi and Ethernet routers. As well as a KM-Sonar echolocation unit, a KA-159 VHF antenna, course, weather, temperature, echo sounder sensors, and a bidirectional converter.
Application areas
- Navigation. The chartplotter ensures safe navigation by displaying the vessel’s location, course data, and maneuvers.
- Shipping. Allows watercraft to exchange various data with each other and with shore services for the safety of shipping.
- Marine security. Can be used by competent authorities to monitor suspicious activity, control transportation, and patrol.
